When I was a kid I took a trip to the flea market with my mom and bought a fake silver chain with a medallion piece in order to impress my classmates at a new school. I love the early 2000s and wanted to recreate the nostalgia of the time, especially in Atlanta. I hope to introduce people to the world of the Eastside of Atlanta and prepare them for my debut feature-length KINFOLK which will embody a lot of the same themes.
