Filmmaker Statement

Frank Mosley is a Texas born filmmaker living in Los Angeles. He is an alumnus of the 2015 Berlinale Talents, 2017 NYFF Artist Academy, and 2016 Auteur Workshop with Abbas Kiarostami in Cuba. He has had retrospectives of his work at the Spectacle Theater, NYC (2018) and online through Kinoscope (2020). His films include Parthenon (2018 Slamdance), Casa De Mi Madre (2017 Champs Elysees), and his 2014 online, interactive experience Her Wilderness, which has been called "a mesmerizing film by a superb actor and filmmaker" (RogerEbert.com). His most recent film, The Event, screened at Fantastic Fest, Santa Barbara IFF, Rooftop Films, and Palm Springs ShortsFest before being released as a Vimeo Staff Pick in 2022.
