Filmmaker Statement

Undocumented immigrants tend to be invisible and invisibilized in our societies, while the great majority of us benefit from their labor. In Guadalupe, the family is rendered invisible and, instead, we witness this woman’s hard work. She, her family and many others like them, suffer due to the political decisions made by families like these.
