Filmmaker Statement

It started with a box of my old toys that was uncovered shortly before the pandemic. As a kid, I would play with these action figures and voice every character with recycled tv/movie dialogue, basically just talking to myself through them. As an adult, I realized these characters are subject to the same boring realities of all work-based conversations and I wanted to revisit the feeling of having a conversation with myself through the action figures but now from a more grown-up and slightly cynical perspective.
