Filmmaker Statement

I wanted to make a film that creates a thrill in viewers just as some of my favorite films have done for me. Growing up, I was too scared to watch horror and thrillers, but in my early 20s something snapped (pun intended?) and I fell madly in love with the art of the scare. Even better would be if the film made me think, while also keeping you on the edge of your seat. I love the conversations that these types of films can create between people. Enter 'Hidden Valley Place' and our attempt to do just that!
