Filmmaker Statement

I was inspired to make this film because of many experiences I'd had online dating in New York City in which guys just really didn't get it. Even when they were nice people and seemingly self-aware, it was impossible for them to truly see things from the other side--that feeling of always looking over your shoulder when you walk home at night. I made this film to explore that, as well as the isolation that I believe is a symptom of modern society, despite the fact that we're more technologically connected than ever.
