Filmmaker Statement

Housewarming is a suspenseful drama that mixes psychological thriller with a coming-of-age tale about a young woman whose dreams of the future are tainted when she moves to a new city. When I spoke to people after screenings of Punch-Drunk, what struck me is just how tense people had found the experience. I wondered if I could push this feeling further. That was percolating in the back of my mind for a while when the initial idea came to me.
