Filmmaker Statement

Bathroom humor hits people of all ages and societies because it is one of the most universal experiences we all have. But I've seen few representations of bathroom *terror*. We've all had experiences where we use a bathroom break as a chance to getaway, get some privacy, and give our brains some rest. When we are in this vulnerable position and that peace is interrupted, it can be at best jarring, or at worst existentially dreadful. This dark comedy taps into that dread - likely outlined while I was sitting on the toilet like our protagonist.
