I made this film based on my experiences as an immigrant and ESL student in the US. I wanted to shine light on some of the challenges newcomers face when absorbing a new culture, new language, and a totally new world. I hope that with this film, current ESL students can feel represented on screen and that I can give them hope. Despite feeling alienated or misunderstood, there will always be that one person that you can relate to the most.
