Travelling to my home country Kenya after very many years felt very refreshing. It felt like I had never been here before. So many nostalgic places that held my memories had drastically changed. The warm temperatures back home were a delight to experience compared to the cold temperatures I was accustomed to while living in London. My trip was predominantly for leisure and to catch up with my friends, whom I had not gotten the chance to see over the years. One of them that I had the opportunity to meet had changed drastically. They felt like they were a different person altogether. I could not pinpoint what exactly it was. However, I could tell there was a difference in how they carried themselves. As well as their energy. I was curious to ask how life was for them over the years. They explained that they took some time for themself to search for their identity, to find out where they categorize themselves on the gender spectrum. It was heart-warming to hear this, especially with them
