What was better than discovering that my film "WAJBA" was considered the best Bahraini film in history? That my favorite child film "In My Shoes" counter-attacked quickly and claimed that position and became the best film in Bahrain's history, according to IMDb, not me. How did it all start? Well, tt is not only that I was able to cast Jamaan Alrowaiei -the greatest Bahraini actor of all times- for my film that made me ecstatic, but it is also the pleasant surprise that he agreed to work with instant effect, which proved to me that he had loved the script immensely. The same goes for Mohammed Al-Saffar -one of the best veteran actors in Bahrain- who got so deep into it (in the coffeeshop we discussed the idea in) to the extent that he drank slightly too many Colombian black coffee shots. Anthropomorphism ideas have been invading my mind since childhood, and I found it really amusing how we can extract many thrilling scenarios out of that space, and yet not much is being expressed wit
