Filmmaker Statement

During the pandemic, a group of cast mates from 13 Reasons Why came to me with a pitch. They wanted me to write them a pilot, and write I did, despite having never met this fellas in real life. For a long time, our relationships were fettered to Zoom, but when the world finally opened up a bit, we figured we should all meet. We also figured if all the talent was congregating in one place, we should shoot a film because, dammit, that's what we love to do. We tore a character out of our pilot and made him the center piece of this short, pensive little film.
