Filmmaker Statement

This film was my very first attempt at a short film, or any narrative piece for that matter. It was setup as a challenge to myself to see how I could handle directing and running a small crew. I happen to be a very big fan of Medieval history and the Crusades play a major role in that time period. I felt that despite many documentaries and movies being made on the subject that the psychological ramifications and effects the wars of that time period had on those who took part is rarely, if ever explored.
