Filmmaker Statement

We really set out to create the most ambition film project we've made so far and I really wanted to get a good level of mythology to the film as this is what I love to see in the horrors I love. Previous films have also been on the more creepy and disturbing factor and I wanted to challenge myself to build in better scare mechanisms with "It's Not Real". Narrative inspired by the idea that people don't like watching certain things, like watching it will make something bad happen and style inspired by films such as "The Ring" and "Sinister".
