Filmmaker Statement

I set out to make this short with friends for no budget and in only 3-4 hours of a shoot. We didn't really know how it would turn out but I'm really glad we took a chance to re-ignite our creativity and just go make something. We always come up with excuses-- we need this amount of money or that specific camera-- but it felt nice to just go do it. Making more queer content is really important to me as a queer director and writer and hopefully this short can resonate with a queer audience!
