Filmmaker Statement

My Quick Story: It has been 18 years since I have made another narrative film. When I was in my 20s I made about 10 films all on my own. I wrote, directed, shot, edited, and produced all of them. I admired Director Robert Rodriguez like many others did, and I was a Rebel Without a Crew. (great book by the way). I have also written several feature length screenplays back in that time. Well today technology has allowed me to revisit those stories I once wrote, and now I can see these ideas I had come to life in some form or another. These are exciting times. This latest short of mine Kaelara: The Summoned Blade is my most ambitious short film to date, thankfully with AI technology I was able to bring an old story of mine to life with these tools, which I would have never would been able to do without a huge budget, cast, extras, stunts, etc. Up until this point, AI does not like combat or action really, let alone battles and such due to strict censorship.
