Kings of the Court explores what it truly means to face the end. How do we choose to spend our final moments when the world around us falls apart? Too often, we see and expect the worst to emerge from people during dark times. But with this film, I wanted to offer a different perspective - one of hope, growth, and human connection in the face of the uncontrollable. The story follows three friends - Ollie, Aileen, and Ranveer - forced to confront their flaws and immaturities as the world crumbles around them. Ultimately, it's a call to find hope even in the darkest moments, reminding us our expiration dates should spur growth and betterment, not chaos and violence. In our hyper-connected yet disconnected, polarised and chaotic modern world, I wanted to show the power of genuine human bonds. I hope this film inspires audiences to seek out the best within themselves and others. For in the end, we're defined not by circumstances, but by the choices we make and the people we choose to be.
