I was inspired by Michael B. Jordan and Ben Watkins after test screen testing for their tv show the Greatest to potentially play the young Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay. They were producing this project and seeing these black artists do great things lit a fire in me to do the same.This fueled my inspiration for my Directorial Debut. Leon’s Fury an Underdog story! One Christmas break I decided to play with ideas.This lead to me into making an outline.From there I started improving and recording on my improv sessions on my iPhone which lead to a script and a reference to pitch to My friend James who agreed to shoot it and do sound on the project.I ended up writing casting ,directing and starring in it.This lead to me making a passion project with my best friends!And I want to say making this film was rewarding and something I’ll never forget.Im so proud of my cast and crew and their will to help me make this vision come to life !
