Filmmaker Statement

This film concept was created by Henning Reinholt. With the help of our talent, Nicholas Maiella, we were able to make the viewer feel trapped alongside him in the events happening to him. Trapped in purgatory, our subject faces the complications of understanding the loss of the significance of everything that he knew to be real. Henning and I, with the help of our production assistant Ryan Melo, worked alongside one another to form shots that would create an eerie desert aura as well as a feeling of isolation.
