Ever since the one-two punch of An American Werewolf In London and Evil Dead 2 scared the crap out of me as a kid, I have been obsessed with horror. This is a crazy time to be alive. As the world seems to spin out of control, we face issues too serious to fathom. And yet, as ever, we need stories, we need films to bring us together. The horror genre is a fertile ground for stories that can take us to dark and dangerous places without actually being dangerous. Help us deal with the world around us. And also provide an escape from reality.
