In 2014, my baby sister was born prematurely due to a rare but crititcal condition called Edward's Syndrome (also known as Trisomy 18). Due to its rarity, I believed the topic could be an extremely interesting subject to explore for those who have either experienced something similar or are on their way to welcoming a new member to the family. As tragic as the experience was for everyone, it taught those in the family valuable lessons regarding the trauma but as well as life as a whole.
