Filmmaker Statement

Back in 2013 I watched my friend play the opening act of what would become a monumental achievement in video games, The Last Of Us. While not quite a gamer, the narrative beats struck me so profoundly that I fell in love with the world and story that Naughty Dog and Sony created. This is my love letter to that game, that world – where it’s not the violence that stands out, but the interpersonal dilemmas and struggles that echo throughout time.
