Filmmaker Statement

I have known night shift guard Nanjappa at my place of work for a while. Not many people know him - he comes after most people have left work, and leaves before they arrive in the morning. I have conversed with him regularly, and his quirky personality and style of speech made him an interesting subject so I began to write down his routine in th shop elf making it a film. After making notes, I followed him with a camera during off-work hours, and watched the footage, until a picture formed itself. Then I began the shoot for the final cut. I hope that audiences enjoy this insight into the complex causes of an ordinary persons life.
