The Covid-19 virus, which spread to many countries around the world in early 2020, caused a pandemic that forced schools to close and education to move online. For countless children who should have entered first grade over that period, traditional classroom learning was a foreign concept. Stuck at home, they imagined what school, and life, would be like when they could study with their classmates.
