Women aren’t allowed to have a mid-life crisis. We’re too busy packing lunches and restocking the toilet paper. So instead, we read fairy smut, drink too much Diet Coke, and silently resent the needy creatures we call family. This story gives voice to women who are tired of holding it all together through the lens of a woman who gave it all up, before she knew what she was giving away and takes the opportunity to step back and see what she got in return. - Liz Golden A toxic relationship could be with a friend, a partner, an organization, or with yourself.
