I set this film up as a crime drama about three people (criminals) locked in a dark, sinister room, who are forced to make a tough decision under the threat of death. Although it is definitely a crime film which has a central intrigue, action and even violence, I wanted it to be a little more than that. I wanted to show the characters in this desperate situation that they cannot escape and explore how each of them reacts to it and why each reacts in a specific way.
