This evolved from an intimate and personal conversation that happened between my brother, who the film is about and myself. He had recently been diagnosed with depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder a few weeks prior and always had an issue with anger since coming back from the War in Afghanistan. We’d never really openly talked about his experiences while serving, so I felt like it was time to really talk about it. He really opened up and discussed what he’d seen out there and how it had effected his civilian life, but most importantly how he deals with it on a day to day bases. I wanted to shine a small light on this bigger issue, so that other people who are dealing with similar problems can feel comfortable to just talk. This experience has brought my brother and I closer than we ever have been before.
