One Wing is a passion project that initially spurred from a homework assignment. The genesis of the plot came after I read Raymond Carver's poem "What the Doctor Said" for an English class last fall. I was so fortunate to be chosen to receive a VCU Arts Undergraduate Grant to fund the production of this film. Without the support of the school and my incredible crew and cast, I would not have been able to make this film, which holds some of my deepest fears and combats true, bodily grief head-on.
