Filmmaker Statement

This film started out of the need to make a contained short about one character and one location. As I started writing, the theme that drew me in was money as a tool of fear. I had never seen anything like what I now dubbed "financial horror" and this was the closest I could get to making that. I want to explore this theme with bigger budgets but this is first of my venture as a filmmaker into the topic of money as a motivation for anti-hero characters.
