Filmmaker Statement

Parked was made over just 48 Hours for the New Zealand version of the 48 Hour Film Festival 2022. We were given the genre "multiverse" and came up with the idea when one of the writers had to move their car during our brainstorming session. It's a bit of a tongue-in-cheek look at people who lose their humanity while trying to work to the red tape and rules of a big corporate job. It won the Auckland City Runner Up Award, was a Grand National Finalist and won Best Female Director overall.
