Filmmaker Statement

Peekaboo began as an experiment, a short horror comedy that I shot simply to play with my new camera. But as I collaborated with Sany, Karen, and Taveon - the talented trio of actors who brought their chemistry to the screen - something spooky and special emerged. Balancing horror with friendly comedy was a thrilling challenge, but it allowed me to push my creative boundaries and explore new possibilities within the genre. And it was all elevated by the masterful sound design of Thom O'Neil - his contributions were truly invaluable and brought a new dimension to the project.
