Filmmaker Statement

As a filmmaker, I crafted this short film to delve into the intricate complexities of perception and reality. Through the lens of a college student's seemingly ordinary life punctuated by surreal experiences, I aimed to explore the fragile boundary between what we perceive as real and the manifestations of our own psyche. By unraveling the layers of illusion and delusion, my intent was to provoke introspection and challenge the viewer's understanding of subjective truth. Ultimately, PHANTASM serves as a contemplative journey, inviting audiences to question the nature of their own perceptions and the stories we construct within our minds.
