Filmmaker Statement

It is difficult to explain the number of causes that lead to isolation. Not just social isolation, but psychological as well. Today, more connected than ever, we find comfort in solitude, and it becomes so hard to leave it that we cling to the ethereal, the synthetic, the pixel. I think we can and should reflect on this in the most varied and possible aspects, and it also hurts. || É difícil explicar o número de causas que levam ao isolamento. Não apenas o isolamento social, mas também o psicológico. Hoje, mais conectados do que nunca, encontramos conforto na solidão, e torna-se tão difícil deixá-la que nos agarramos ao etéreo, ao sintético, ao pixel. Penso que podemos e devemos refletir sobre isto nos mais variados e possíveis aspectos, e também dói.
