Filmmaker Statement

Whenever we are in dire and horrible situations that are outside of our control, we always resort to our imagination to escape from the madness that we live in. Sometimes our external society is not there to aid us during our dark times, which makes us have to search for the light within ourselves. This film takes a deep dive into Lucy's deep and imaginative desires of escaping her toxic and abusive relationship with her mother in the darkest ways possible.
