Filmmaker Statement

RUNNING BEHIND was a work I started back in February 2023. At the time, I struggled a lot with finishing school, writer's block, and I felt I had too many obstacles to create what I wanted. I wrote this because I thought it translated well beyond the initial subject matter. I wanted to challenge myself to create a script with an engaging story, meaningful dialogue between characters, and an ending people could find fulfilling. My goal in creating this was to show off my style and display what filmmaking means to me.
