Filmmaker Statement

This film is a project I conceived at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was in the process of applying to film schools and wanted something to show to them. But more than that, I realized that, being stuck at home, I had no excuse not to make something. Using what limited resources, people, and equipment I had access to during the lockdown, I was drawn to create a contained science fiction drama that centered around these two sisters. All of which are themes and genres I love and have inspired me. I hope to write and create even more projects that fall into these genres/themes as well as many more.
