I wanted to explore how adults treat their childhood friendships weighed down by unspoken resentments and competitiveness. I also wanted to take a look at those strange ineffable bonds that exist in these estranged relationships even when all else has crumbled. I found a really incredible cast that I knew could handle the micro-moments and memories and looks involved in a fraught dynamic and couldn't wait to make the short happen.
