Filmmaker Statement

I divided the real path of Time in three sections who moves backwards against the usual path of story without any cuts through it and each time it has a switchback through the time to start the story again from a new point of view, 22 minutes in one shoot! Each section is a new beginning from earlier time before the murder and every acts of characters through the story path repeats for three times and each time from a new angle and there has no cut among new starts. I considers old famous and classic Noir French and American movies to create the detective character as the story happens in Iran, his hat, his rain-coat, his cigarette and his glasses even and so forth… as a silent symbol out of the film’s time. A main brain and angle of view above the story. I considered black and white shooting from my previous short film “I’m A,I” which I shoot it in minimal and a Noir black and white who I’ve learned from classic films of 30th and 40th. This film shot in one take and there is no cut.
