Filmmaker Statement

I wrote, directed, and edited Sirens as a part of Dolby & Ghetto Film School's "Finish The Script" challenge. My hope is that people watch the film and feel inspired to be more self-accepting. The film touches on how difficult it can be when you’re afraid to truly be yourself around the people you love most. There is a real power that comes with opening up to those around you and communicating your feelings. I hope that those who see Sirens get put on the path much sooner than I did, and find the courage to live their life proudly.
