Filmmaker Statement

Never during my time in film school have I made a film so politically charged and polarising as this film. However, this film was the culmination of 6 years of honing my craft as a writer and director, finding my cinematic voice and using it to make a film that makes the audience pick sides. The themes explored in this film are very relatable to the times we are facing right now. From the inception of the National Front to Tommy Robinson's rise to infamy with the EDL to the 2020 Election riots at Capitol Hill in Washington, USA, the far-right has continued to gain popularity throughout the years. The reasons for this are explored in this film. On the other side, the film also looks into MI5's handling of Right-Wing Terrorism (RWT) and depicts a more realistic depiction of espionage, not seen in franchises like James Bond and Mission Impossible.
