Writer/Director Dexter Strong Buell and producer Kevin Lopez began collaborating as teachers in a Queens Art High School in the 2010s. They taught filmmaking to NYC teens and figured someday they would put their money where their mouth was, and make a film together. This narrative arose from those conversations and the many unique students they came to now and care for.
