A screenwriting book I read on how to write horror films recommended I write down all my fears and base my film around the one that scares you the most. I only wrote down one fear, but it was bone chilling nonetheless: Having children. So we tried making that into a trailer for the straight to VHS horror film it should have been. Were as the film isn't exactly scary to most people, it lays out all the reasonable and completely selfish reasons for not having kids (like wanting to travel and take recreational drugs), through the form of a stork puppet trying to deliver some 30 year olds a baby. This project was filmed in Chicago during the pandemic paid for by stimulus checks, borrowed gear from my work, locations from friends, and a bunch of free water provided by Liquid Death. We would be honored to do a premiere with shortoftheweek. We have a festival we are premiering at Oct 16th, but after that we can release the film online anytime. Thanks for the consideration!
