At its core, this is of course a film about growing up, and it was made during one of the biggest transitional phases in my life: high school. There were a lot of things I was uncomfortable about at the time, but one of those things was truly the idea of leaving my "youth" behind. It's a concept that most all of us can relate to in some way, whether we had an almost sentient stuffed bunny or not.
