Filmmaker Statement

This script threw up a lot of opportunities and challenges. As the majority of the narrative centres on one conversation, I knew it was imperative to develop a rich mood within the film. I wanted to create an atmosphere that stays with the audience, without it feeling overworked. Outside of performance, I knew the sound and look of the film would be my biggest allies in achieving this. I love that the film has a strange, almost supernatural undertone. It's a genre element I've wanted to explore for a long time and was grateful to be able to do so in this. Hope you enjoy!
