Filmmaker Statement

After working within the network TV system, we both wanted to let our freak flags fly. So we decided to use the materials and equipment we had available to make a series of low budget films with a focus on story. In a world where camera equipment is more accessible and affordable than ever, it seemed ironic to us that all of the shorts we kept seeing had insanely high budgets. So we made this film in Maria's living room and her husband volunteered to hold the boom (shout out to Tom). We have found our niche with a "no budge" philosophy and we think our weird little movie showcases that well.
