The Blood Stone was born out of my fascination with how courage reveals itself in the face of fear. I wanted to tell a story where a young girl must face an otherworldly evil and, in doing so, discovers her own strength. It’s a story about the human spirit told through the lens of supernatural myth. At its core, this film explores how we process fear and power, both real and imagined, and how moments of darkness can reveal who we truly are. I aimed to create something that feels both intimate and cinematic, grounded in emotional truth but elevated by fantasy and mystery. The Blood Stone also serves as a creative foundation for a larger feature and series I’m developing, continuing my journey of building worlds that reflect our humanity through genre.
