Filmmaker Statement

This film was commissioned by a friend who happens to be a Jesuit Priest. It is a unique story comprised of seemingly disparate elements such as Catholicism, Cajun culture, and Native American people. Ultimately it is a story about the spiritual heights that can be built out of the depths of a natural disaster. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this story, and hope that it provides uplift.
