Filmmaker Statement

As a lifelong horror enthusiast, "The Pig" is a passion project rooted in my childhood fascination with the genre. Initially conceived as a simple one character horror transformation scene, the project's evolution into a multifaceted narrative encountered script challenges and budget constraints, yet ultimately triumphed through the dedication of a small team of professional artists, stunt coordinators, and local actors. With over a decade in visual effects, this film marks my filmmaker debut, handling every aspect from development to post-production. Boasting over 100 VFX shots, the year-long post-production period reflects my commitment to showcasing technical prowess within indie filmmaking. Overall, the film is meant to serve as a proof of concept, demonstrating my ability to push creative boundaries on a modest budget. My ultimate goal is to gain more opportunities to create and develop original stories for tv and film on a broader scale.
