Filmmaker Statement

I’ve always been of the opinion that large-scale phenomena and issues are reflected in the minute details of life. Thus, my work often portrays seemingly incidental or insignificant moments that are reflective of larger themes. I have a deep appreciation for life and the human experience and the dichotomy of good and bad within that, and so I try to make my art as objective as possible because not only does that accurately reflect life and the issues within it, but also because I’d like the audience to create their own ideas about the story that is being told.
