I first met LA-born photographer Cesca Diebschlag in 2024 at Artwave in Lewes, England, and was instantly struck - not just by her photography, but by her calming and centred presence. There was something rare about her way of seeing. Soon after meeting, we began talking about making a film together. The idea was simple: a film made entirely from her photographs, with no videos. What followed became one of the most poignant creative experiences of my life. Cesca and I found a unique connection that bridged generations. The film became about life and death, philosophy, and the quiet beauty that exists in all things. Through this process, I learnt a lot from Cesca about ways of seeing and being, about living in tune with nature, and about finding stillness and beauty in the everyday. The film taps into the rhythms of the natural world at a time when so much content feels rushed and anxious. I hope it resonates with you, and that you fall in love with Cesca’s art, and with her outloo
